It’s neat when kids want to write on their own. This past week my 11-year-old created a waiver form, his own idea.

A waiver form is something you sign where you agree not to hold someone responsible if something were to happen to you. My son wrote a waiver form for other kids to sign, where they would follow a certain set of rules and not hold him responsible for anything that happened. It was written in jest and kept to himself, but it did get him writing. 🙂
